The competition heats up! Yeah yeah, I know. It's July!   But, after going through over 200 hours of music, and more than 2000 songs on my hard drive, I've narrowed my playlist down to my top 64 songs. I've played them into 4 NCAA-College-Basketball-National-Championship-style brackets, and am now going to play them against each other, head to head, for two rounds. I can't be an atheist. I have seen the hand of God move. I have felt the presence of powers immeasurably more powerful than me in holy places. My soul aches in the hole I once let him live. I wonder what that hole feels like in a person who can't or won't believe in spiritual forces. Maybe one day science will be able to prove that God is just a Higgs-Boson, and the people who've found spiritual peace have one occupying a tiny subatomic place in their hearts. Raingutter Regatta in Review!

Yesterday was *eventful.* We started the morning with the Portland Metro Area's PACK OF THE YEAR (No surprise - Stephen is in one of the greatest packs in the Boy Scouts of America). Yesterday's event was the Raingutter Regatta. Melissa Stidham-Clary and I had volunteered to help set up, and for us, that also included making food, providing drinks, supplying tools, and just generally being available to help out.
