Yesterday was *eventful.* We started the morning with the Portland Metro Area's PACK OF THE YEAR (No surprise - Stephen is in one of the greatest packs in the Boy Scouts of America). Yesterday's event was the Raingutter Regatta. Melissa Stidham-Clary and I had volunteered to help set up, and for us, that also included making food, providing drinks, supplying tools, and just generally being available to help out. WRONG
The Boy Scout Motto is "Be Prepared." The Cub Scout Motto is "Always Do Your Best." What would be awesome would be if the people in charge of the Three Rivers District of the Boy Scouts of America had prepared their website with the help of a proper proofreading. In today's society, where the difference between professionalism and lazy "don't give a damn" grows murkier every day, I still expect -- nay, DEMAND that the Boy Scouts be one of those groups in the professional category.
