This summer I took my 3000 song playlist of CDs I'd ripped over the years off and rated each and every song. I eliminated duplicates. I deleted files that were scratched/badly played versions of damaged CDs. And then I started sorting them and eliminating all but my absolute favorite songs. At the end of the day, I had 64 contenders for best song ever.
